BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Just before the one-year countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, all competition venues for the Games have been completed.
In mid-January, Chinese President Xi Jinping inspected the Games' preparation work in Beijing and the co-host city of Zhangjiakou.
From bidding to preparing for the Winter Olympics, President Xi has been playing a leading role.
