Students play ping-pong after class at the Shibadong Primary School in Shuanglong Town of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, central China's Hunan Province, Sept. 5, 2019. Located in the deep mountains of Xiangxi, the rural primary school only has two teachers and 22 students from the school's kindergarten, first grade and second grade. The school's classrooms are also used as the rest room and dining room for students. Thanks to local authorities' work in targeted poverty alleviation on aspects of education, the primary school has seen great changes in its teaching conditions since 2014, including newly-repaired schoolhouses, more spacious classrooms, wholly-new desks and chairs and a library full of children's books.
