Photo taken on Sept. 26, 2018 shows mariachis playing music for the tourists riding "trajineras" through one of the canals of Xochimilco in Mexico City, capital of Mexico. The town of Xochimilco, with a history that dates back to pre-Hispanic times, is one of the places in the south of Mexico City with great diversity of flora and fauna, with canals that turn it into one of the favorite areas for national and international tourists. Its name means "the place of fertile land of flowers" in nahuatl, and it was declared World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1987. One of the most well-known features of Xochimilco is the "trajineras", boats painted with bright colors and decorated with flowers, that almost always have the name of a woman, in which the visitors can tour the network of canals that are flanked by gardens and trees while listening to mariachis and other musical groups that offer their services in the place, besides enjoying something to eat and drink.
