RIYADH, May 15 (Xinhua) -- A surveillance aircraft belonging to Saudi Arabia's wildlife authority crashed on Tuesday, killing four of the organization's staff on board, local news site Sabq reported.
The accident took place during the organization's routine surveillance in one of Saudi various reserves in north of the country.
The deceased were the pilot, co-pilot, the reserve director and an employee.
The authority has taken serious measures to fight the decline of birds and other animals because of urbanization and pollution through awareness programs and providing protected areas where they would not face human impact.
